Punch Needle Embroidery

If you love needlework but could not spare much time for your hobby, then punch needle embroidery is a needle art for you.

Punch Needle also known as Bunka, require little or no skills, once you master the Basic Technique, there is no limit on variety of design you can create with Punch needle.
Very few tools and supplies are required and it can be finished quickly depending on complexity of your project but end results are always very pretty and elegant.

This centuries old needle art is delightful and very rewarding; Only problem - you can easily get hooked on to this beautiful needle art.

I have been introduced to Punch Needle embroidery by my very good friend and immensely talented artist Rupali, who provided me with this beautiful design and generously lent me her own Punch Needle. This is my very first Punch needle creation and I am quite happy with results.

Here is little video introduction of Punch Needle

Have a creative Day

  2. Dear Veena

Punch needle is one of the easiest needle art,
I used regular cotton cloth as base but weaver's cloth is preferred.
I used regular DMC cotton yarn[3 strands]
You need special hollow needle known as punch needle and its threader
    here is little demo
